DIRT BIKES ON PUBLIC LAND

Motorbike/ Dirt bike riding is a popular leisure activity in and around Port Augusta, Stirling North, Blanche Harbor and Miranda, however local riders need to remember there are strict rules governing where Dirt bikes can be driven so no serious injuries or fatalities can occur.

The use of Dirt bikes in Council reserves and coastal areas (Local Government land that is open to and accessible by the public) – where tracks are not constructed for the purpose of Dirt bike riding is a breach of clause 9.39.1 of the Council’s Local Government Land By-law.
